Built in or bolted on? Stayflexi vs eZee (YCS) vs Hotelogix for Indian independent hotels
Indian independents are choosing between mature PMS suites with add-ons and interfaces, and an AI-native all-in-one system. Here's how Stayflexi, eZee Absolute (Yanolja Cloud Solution), and Hotelogix compare on one guest record, what's built in, pricing transparency, and readiness for AI agents.
If you run an independent hotel, resort, or homestay in India, you have probably sat through the same three demos: a PMS with a channel manager "connect," a booking engine on a separate plan, a POS priced per outlet, and an AI feature that is either free for now or coming next quarter. Each demo looks reasonable on its own. Put them together and your front desk is back to juggling logins, your night audit still depends on one tired person, and your guest's history lives in four places.
The real decision is not which feature list is longest. It is whether the platform runs your property on one guest and operations record, with the core tools built in, or whether you assemble the stack plan by plan and interface by interface.
Here is a fair look at three cloud platforms Indian independents commonly evaluate: Stayflexi, eZee Absolute (now sold under Yanolja Cloud Solution, or YCS), and Hotelogix. All three are serious, India-rooted products. They just made different architecture bets.
The question to ask in every demo
Before you compare prices, ask each vendor to show you one guest moving through one stay:
An OTA booking arrives, and inventory updates everywhere without a second system.
The guest messages on WhatsApp or the OTA inbox, and the reply can see their folio and stay history.
Restaurant charges post straight to the room folio.
Night audit closes and reconciles without someone exporting reports.
The review after checkout gets a reply that knows what actually happened during the stay.
If any of those steps needs a separate add-on, a partner integration, or a higher tier, that is where cost and friction creep in. It is also where AI stops working, because an agent can only act on data it can reach.
Stayflexi: all-in-one and agent-ready from day one
Stayflexi was built as a single hospitality operating system rather than a PMS with modules attached later. PMS, channel manager (100+ OTAs), booking engine, revenue manager, POS, housekeeping, guest journey and self check-in, payments, expenses, reputation, and messaging sit on the same data model, and the full set is available in one All-in-one package.
On top of that sits FlexiAI, a set of AI agents that do daily work rather than only showing charts: Guest Assist replies to guests across Airbnb, Booking.com, WhatsApp and other channels; Reputation Manager drafts and posts review replies with sentiment tracking; and Night Auditor runs automated nightly audits including POS reconciliation. Revenue, operations, and analytics agents are in development. These agents work because guest, folio, inventory, and channel data are already in one place.
Stayflexi publishes a live pricing configurator with an India region, so you can price your exact room count and package before talking to sales. Onboarding, training, and channel mapping are free, most properties go live in under two days, and there are native iOS and Android apps for running the property from your phone. Stayflexi is Y Combinator-backed and reports 5,000+ hotels and 90,000+ rooms across 10+ countries (a vendor claim, as are all scale figures in this post).
Where Stayflexi is strongest: independents and small groups that want fewer tools, POS and messaging included rather than added, transparent pricing, and AI agents that can actually close tasks.
eZee Absolute / Yanolja Cloud Solution: scale and a mature suite
eZee started in Surat in 2005 and became one of the best-known hotel software brands to come out of India. South Korea's Yanolja acquired eZee Technosys in 2019, the company rebranded as Yanolja Cloud Solution in 2024 while keeping the eZee product line, and it later expanded in North America by acquiring Innsoft. YCS now describes itself as serving 33,000 hotels across 170 countries, with 650+ integrations and 50+ languages.
The product is broad and proven. eZee Absolute covers front desk, reservations, housekeeping, billing, a channel manager, booking engine, payments, CRS for chains, and region-specific tax and compliance reports. YCS's newer plan structure bundles PMS, channel manager, booking engine, and payments in an Essential tier, with AI guest communication, dynamic pricing, and reputation management in a Growth tier. YCS says its AI concierge is free for Growth and Enterprise properties until December 2026, with pricing to be confirmed later.
The tradeoff is how the rest of the stack is packaged. On YCS's published pricing page, Restaurant POS is an add-on at $90 per outlet per month, the website builder is $45 per property per month, Open API access is $150 per package, and the integrations marketplace is $45 per month. Core plan prices themselves are quote-based by room count.
Where eZee/YCS is strongest: global reach, a very large integration catalogue, multi-property and chain tooling, and decades of operational polish. What to check: which tools you will add on, and what AI pricing looks like after 2026.
Hotelogix: cloud pioneer with deep mid-market roots
Hotelogix, founded in 2008 and now headquartered in Singapore, was one of the early cloud PMS players in India. It reports 12,000+ hotels in 100+ countries, and says it powered more than 400,000 rooms across India in 2025 and reached EBITDA-positive that year. That is real mid-market depth.
Its pricing is per room per month with a public calculator and month-to-month terms. Software directories list India tiers starting around ₹250 per room per month with a minimum monthly bill. The structure is worth reading closely: the entry Premium tier includes front desk, housekeeping, web booking engine, POS, and review tools, while channel manager, payment gateways, revenue management, loyalty, and accounting are "interfaces," with Premium Plus allowing any three and Platinum any six. Hotelogix also publishes a 2026 roadmap focused on compliance (Saudi e-invoicing, Philippine BIR, Malaysian e-invoicing), payments, and hourly or day-use bookings.
On AI, Hotelogix has added AI to pricing insights, occupancy forecasting, reputation sentiment, metasearch bidding, and WhatsApp campaigns. In its own words, it is "working on integrating PMS data-driven agentic AI," and it frames AI as decision support rather than a replacement for staff judgment.
Where Hotelogix is strongest: predictable per-room pricing, strong mid-market and enterprise references across Asia and the Middle East, and a careful, compliance-first roadmap. What to check: how many interfaces your property actually needs, and whether that pushes you up a tier.
Built in versus bolted on, side by side
Channel manager: built in with Stayflexi; included from YCS's Essential tier; an "interface" on Hotelogix's Premium Plus and Platinum tiers.
Restaurant POS: included in Stayflexi's All-in-one package; a per-outlet add-on with YCS; included in Hotelogix's Premium tier.
AI guest messaging and review replies: live FlexiAI agents with Stayflexi; part of YCS's Growth tier (free until December 2026); AI sentiment and WhatsApp campaigns with Hotelogix, with agentic AI described as in progress.
Automated night audit: an AI Night Auditor agent with Stayflexi; listed as an automated function in YCS plans; night audit handled inside the PMS with Hotelogix, with no dedicated AI audit agent in its published materials.
Pricing transparency: public configurator with Stayflexi; quote-based core plans with public add-on prices at YCS; public per-room calculator with Hotelogix.
How to choose
Choose Stayflexi if you want one system with one guest record, POS and messaging included, transparent India pricing, fast go-live, and AI agents that already handle guest replies, reviews, and night audit.
Choose eZee/YCS if you run a larger chain or a multi-country portfolio and value a huge integration catalogue and global support footprint.
Choose Hotelogix if you prefer straightforward per-room pricing, mid-market enterprise references, and a compliance-led roadmap, and you are comfortable picking interfaces tier by tier.
The architecture bet
Indian hoteliers are short on night auditors, front-desk staff, and time, while OTA messages, review volume, and rate changes keep climbing. The next few years will be won by software that does work, not software that adds another screen. That only scales on a unified data model where the agent answering the guest can also see the folio, move the room, and close the audit.
That is the bet Stayflexi made from day one. Bring your real workflows to a demo, from OTA booking to restaurant bill to review reply, and see which platform handles them in one place.
